[ About ]

Longview Capital is a developer-builder focused on transforming land into purpose-built rental housing for long-term ownership. We manage the full development lifecycle, from land acquisition and zoning coordination through design, construction, and ongoing operations.

Our work spans three development asset classes—Lot & Loft, Field & Frame, and Block & Main—each tailored to its land context while adhering to the same principles: disciplined land use, durable construction, and relevance across market cycles.

Projects are designed in-house, coordinated with local planning authorities, and built using economical materials selected for long-term performance. Longview develops rental housing intended to be owned and operated over time.

[ HISTORY ]

Longview Capital was founded on the principle that land development and long-term ownership create better outcomes than short-term speculation. The firm began by identifying gaps in the rental housing market—specifically the need for purpose-built homes that serve tenants well while supporting durable investment performance.

From the beginning, the focus has been on controlling the development process. Rather than relying on third-party builders or conventional acquisition models, Longview established in-house capabilities to manage site selection, design, construction, and operations. This approach allows for tighter cost control, material specification, and alignment with long-term hold strategies.

The three asset classes—Lot & Loft, Field & Frame, and Block & Main—emerged from analyzing where land-based development could meet unmet tenant demand. Each reflects a commitment to thoughtful density, zoning coordination, and construction built to last across market cycles.
